If you remember “Moana,” Disney’s animated musical film from 2016, and you’re looking forward to the July 10 release of the live-action follow-up, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, you won’t want to miss this special performance by the Dearborn Summer Chorus!
“Moana & America” will feature choral highlights from the upcoming film, as well as songs of Americana, including “Give Me Your Tired, Your Poor;” “Home on the Range;” and “Hush! Somebody’s Callin’ My Name.”
BrassTaxx, a popular classic rock horn band, will be the day’s special guest.
This Wednesday evening performance gets under at 7:30 p.m.
